Taster sessions
We run taster sessions for those who think that they would like to give croquet a go. There is no charge for the first session, but subsequent sessions will cost £5 for a half day. Subsequent sessions are limited to three. The £15 will be set against the subscription on joining.
ALTERNATIVELY, JOIN US FOR ALL OR PART OF A CLUB SESSION IN JUNE OR JULY 2024
This is a great chance to try the fascinating sport of croquet free of charge, with an introduction to the basics from members of Ripon Spa Croquet Club and then have a friendly game or two. We are at Studley Royal Cricket Club, Galphay Lane, Ripon, just beyond Tate’s garden centre on the B6265.
Join us for all or part of an afternoon and evening, between 1pm and 7pm. All equipment will be provided by the club and qualified coaches and members will be on hand to introduce you to this fun and fascinating sport. Please wear flat-soled shoes such as trainers.
If you missed our Open Day on Sunday 26th May and would like to have a go in June or July please contact the secretary to ensure that (a) a member will be there at one of our normal club sessions and (b) there is no fixture on that day. Our normal club times are: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1pm to 7pm at the latest. Fridays from 4pm to 7pm.
We also organise taster sessions for outside groups.
