Manager: Michael Franklin
In 2023, Pendle and Craven, Ben Rhydding, Bishop Monkton and Ripon Spa croquet clubs decided to play in a league of their own. It was known as The Cross Pennine league. Following representations by some players in the league, Pendle and Craven joined the Yorkshire Croquet Federation (YCF). The future of this league and of the YCF level play league was decided at the YCF general meeting on 30th April.
In 2024, Bishop Monkton won the trophy with an impressive 5 points out of 6 and 22 games won. After the end of the 2024 season, the four clubs agreed to play each other on a home and away basis. The host and visitor club will be determined after the YCF fixtures have been advised.
The results of the following matches between the four clubs, played in the YCF level play league, will be combined with the results of the matches between the four clubs outside the YCF level play league, to determine the winner of the trophy .
